Pink Punishment

Happy New Year dear readers! An amusing news article on Yahoo caught my eye this morning. Headlined "DMX Adopts Pink Prison Wardrobe" the writer reports that jailed rapper DMX is none too happy about having to wear Maricopa County Jail's standard inmate uniform - pink t-shirts, underwear and socks. Apparently the jail adopted the "pink policy" as a way of cutting down on clothing theft.

Female disciplinarians of course have known for many years that requiring naughty boys to wear pink is an excellent way of cutting them down a peg or two. Arrogant males with over-inflated egos may respond well to a good old-fashioned dose of petticoat discipline. Perhaps the "pink policy" should be expanded!
